What data we collect

When you use Approvelo, we collect the following information:

  • Your email address (used for authentication and notifications)
  • Approval request content you create (title, description, work links, client name)
  • Client responses — including their decision, comment, timestamp, IP address, and user agent
  • Basic usage data such as page views and interactions (via Microsoft Clarity)

How we use your data

  • To provide the Approvelo service and maintain your approval records
  • To send email notifications (magic links, approval response alerts)
  • To improve the product through anonymised usage analytics

Data storage

Your data is stored securely using Supabase (PostgreSQL hosted on AWS). All data is encrypted at rest and in transit.

Email delivery

Transactional emails (magic links, notifications) are sent via Resend. We do not use your email for marketing without your consent.

Third-party sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes. Data is only shared with infrastructure providers (Supabase, Resend, Vercel) strictly to operate the service.

Deleting your data

You can delete individual approval requests from your dashboard at any time. To delete your account and all associated data, email us at hello@approvelo.com and we will process the request within 7 days.
